About

Green computing, or green information technology (IT), refers to environmentally sustainable computing. It is the study and practice of using computing resources efficiently by designing, manufacturing, using, and disposing of computers, servers, and associated subsystems (such as monitors, printers, storage devices, and networking and communication systems) with minimal or no impact on the environment.

The goals of green computing are similar to green chemistry i.e., reduce the use of hazardous materials, maximize energy efficiency during the product's lifetime, the recyclability or biodegradability of defunct products and factory waste.

Our Background

The International Conference on Green Computing has established itself as one of the most knowledgeable sources in the green computing sector since its inception in 2020. It's this commitment to excellence that has driven us to grow and enabled us to meet several amazing people. Please contact us if you would like to know more about the conference.
